An unforgettable afternoon and the ultimate way to spend an English summer day. Stroll through the vineyard with one of our knowledgeable team members to discover the art of growing grapes organically in our cool East Sussex climate. Next stop is the winery where you will learn a bit about our low intervention winemaking at Oxney plus how we make our sparkling wine using the traditional method of secondary fermentation in a bottle. A guided tasting with a selection of some of our award winning wines enabling you to taste what you have just experienced. After your tasting, you will be provided with a gourmet organic and locally sourced picnic and glass of Oxney wine to enjoy beside the vines in our picturesque picnic area.

Upgrades of wine by the bottle are available, just let us know your preference in the comments in the booking form.

Bring suitable footwear and clothes suited to the weather on the day.

We can refund you if you cancel four weeks before of the booked tour/tasting. Cancellations for any reason after that will not be refunded.

We can move your booking within the same season (May 2024 – October 2024) if you let us know four weeks before the booked tour/tasting. After that we can not move it.

Please bring your booking confirmation with you on the day.

Transport: We have ample parking if you come by car. If you travel to the area by train, Rye is our closest station, we recommend booking a taxi to the vineyard in advance (several weeks). Also make sure you book a taxi for your return journey. Our local taxi companies are very busy on Saturdays and it is likely you won’t get a taxi if you call on the day. We do not have a specific taxi company to recommend.
